Kim’s mother was a patient at Jefferson City named Betty Gentry. Kim commented on the beautiful Veteran’s display that was done in the dining room. She was told that there was soon to be another one put up in the lobby. Kim, a photographer, had an idea; she created a mock up of the Veteran’s Picture and the staff at Jefferson City fell in love. Through her kindness and talent, Kim and those at Jefferson City collaborated on this beautiful project to create a piece that honors those who have served our country. It hangs in the Place of Honor in the lobby. Kim’s mother has since been discharged.
